Our CIQ speaker/trunk show will be presented by Joy Neal.
Joy Neal grew up around sewing and quilting. Her mother had an in-home business making draperies and upholstering furniture. Her grandmother was a quilter who hand quilted for people who needed quilt tops finished. Joy started at age 4 with a toy sewing machine and has been sewing ever since. After years of making her own clothing, she made her first quilt top in 1974 that her grandmother hand quilted. She made her first complete quilt in 1976. Joy is active in several local quilt guilds, a member of the American Quit Society Study Group, the Applique Society, Northwest Quilting Connecting, Fidelgo Island Quilters and President of the Board of the pacific Northwest Quilt and Fiber Arts Museum.

Diane Ogden will continue to host "Sit and Sew" it from 9:00 am to 10:00 am in Wesley Hall. This is an opportunity for members to sit together to work on handwork and/or just visit. Come before the meeting and enjoy a cup of coffee and a treat! Look for the table grouping at the back of the room and the “Sit and Sew” sign.
After the main speaker we will wrap up with show and share. Your committee chairs will be set up in Wesley Hall after the meeting if you need to meet with them.
Social hour is between 12-1PM. Beverages are provided and guild members are encouraged to bring a treat to share.
Guests may join 2 meetings prior to joining guild. Tell your friends and see you there!
