September CIQ General Members meeting
We are excited to get back into our habit of meeting monthly this coming Wed, Sept 6th.
First notice is from Diane Ogden (541-450-2471 membership@ciqguild.org)
We will be starting a “Sit and Sew” at the September meeting that will run from 9:00 am to 10:00 am in Wesley Hall. This is an opportunity for members to sit together to work on handwork and/or just visit. Come before the meeting and enjoy a cup of coffee and a treat! Look for the table grouping at the back of the room and the “Sit and Sew” sign. This will be the first month for this new activity. If members enjoy having this social time together, we will continue it each month.
Second notice is from Pat Bronson and Linda Wright
It’s the start of a new CIQ monthly meetings and we will be serving some refreshments. Coffee and sparkling water will provided but it would be great to have cookies too! Can you help? Bring a small plate (12-24) of cookies, homemade or store bought, to the meeting. Some folks have recommended to provide both “before and after” treats so put your contribution in Wesley Hall when you arrive. Please, finger food only - No plates or utensils needed. See you there!

At 10AM sharp- the general meeting will start. Joyce Becker -Renowned landscape quilt artist and author- will do a trunk show. Below is a sample:
As usual we will have guild business, door prizes and show and tell.
Around noon the main meeting will conclude but the committee chairs will have tables set up to conduct business or answer questions.
The tech team will be set up to answer technical questions you may have regarding our website. They will also be able to take your picture to add it to our directory. (You also can add your own picture to the directory, we are just there to help if you need it.)
Guests may join 2 meetings prior to joining guild
